VISTEC Open House 2026.
On 31 January 2026, VISTEC organized and hosted VISTEC Open House 2026, an event designed for prospective students interested in pursuing master’s and doctoral degree programs at the Institute. Participants were divided into two groups: registered participants (151 people: 130 Thai and 21 International) and a group from Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), about 90 people. Both groups attended a VISTEC overview session delivered by Prof. Dr. Pimchai Chaiyen (President of VISTEC), followed by presentations from the school directors, who introduced potential supervisors, academic programs, awards, and examples of graduates who have pursued careers across a wide range of professions. Following the presentations, participants joined campus and school tours, where they received in-depth information on ongoing research projects within individual laboratories. The sessions provided opportunities for close interaction with faculty members of interest as well as current students and highly qualified researchers. The event was conducted successfully and participants departed with a positive impression of the institute.Posted on 27 February 2026
VISTEC Graduation Ceremony 2025.
On 27 January 2026, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously presided over the graduation ceremony and conferred doctoral and master’s degrees upon 32 graduates of Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC) for the Academic Year 2024-2025, awarded the prestigious “Srimedhi Royal Scholarship” to 7 outstanding students, and presented royal certificates to 2 representatives of Kamnoetvidya Science Academy (KVIS), for the Academic Year 2024.The ceremony was held at Vidyasirimedhi Auditorium, VISTEC, Rayong.Following the ceremony, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn officially opened The Atrium (Energy Complex) at The EnCony Hotel and viewed the exhibitions showcasing the progress of innovative research from VISTEC’s four schools, Kamnoetvidya Science Academy (KVIS), and PTTEP. These activities reflected the readiness of the Wangchan Valley (EECi) area to serve as a leading innovation ecosystem in Southeast Asia. VISTEC Hooding Ceremony 2025
On 26 January 2026, Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC) hosted the Hooding Ceremony 2025 at Pailin Auditorium. The event honored the academic accomplishments of the graduating class of 2024-2025, marking their transition from students to professionals poised to make significant contributions to science, technology, and innovation.During the hooding ceremony, graduates were formally recognized as the President and school directors placed the academic hood, a symbol of their scholarly achievements and readiness to excel in their respective fields. The hooding ceremony was attended by faculty members, staff, students, families, and well-wishers, making it a truly memorable occasion.
