The Cover of a Well-known Journal of the American Chemical Society Features a Thai Culture of Children’s Play in the Past with a Research Article by Associate Professor Dr. Khamphee Phomphrai and His Research Team from Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology.
The cover of the Inorganic Chemistry, October 31, 2022, Volume 61, Number 43 illustrates the plays of Thai children in the past. One famous play is “Banana rib hobbyhorse riding-ขี่ม้าก้านกล้วย”. The cover also shows the long part of the molecule, like a rope flying high in the sky while three kites of the children’s play are attached to it.
In the context of chemistry, however, the cover of the journal is described as “A new series of Ti and Zr catalysts based on the constrained hydroxyindanone-imine ligands was developed for ethylene and ethylene/1-hexene (co)polymerizations. Significantly higher ethylene polymerization activities and higher 1-hexene content in the copolymers were observed as a result of the constrained five-membered ring backbone.”
