VISTEC hosted the Loy Krathong 2023 event on the auspicious date of 27 November, coinciding with the traditional Loy Krathong festival. Themed "Less is More," the event symbolized the idea that a smaller quantity can yield higher quality.

This year, we had the honor of hosting esteemed guests from overseas who participated in the festivities as part of the VISTEC – Kyoto University Joint Symposium.

The Loy Krathong festival featured engaging activities, including the Krathong Contest, Best Costume Contest, Booth Activities from our four schools, Karaoke, and the highlight - floating Krathong on the lake.

We trust that everyone enjoyed the event and took a moment to reflect on the importance of water, a theme central to Loy Krathong.

We eagerly anticipate your presence at the next Loy Krathong festival. Together, let us continue to appreciate and recognize the vital role of water in our lives.
