Location: Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC), Rayong, Thailand.

VISTEC is a privately funded research institute in Rayong, Thailand, dedicated to fostering innovation and research excellence. As part of its mission, VISTEC seeks outstanding researchers in transformative technology areas, including Advanced Materials, Energy and Environment, Biotechnology, and Digital Technology.

The School of Information Science and Technology (IST), established in 2017, aims to lead in Advanced Automation and Machine Intelligence. Our research focus areas include:

1. Natural Language Processin

2. Computer Vision

3. Robotics

4. Intelligent Network Systems

5. Brain-Computer Interfaces and Bio-signal Processing

6. Information Retrieval and Representation Learning

Position Responsibilities

Successful candidates will:

• Supervise research students and foster their development.
• Conduct high-impact research and build industrial collaborations.
• Teach graduate-level courses aligned with their expertise.
• Contribute to the school’s mission through assigned duties.

Research Start-up Package

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields and demonstrate an exceptional research track record in areas such as Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Intelligent Network Systems, or Robotics. Preference will be given to candidates with postdoctoral or faculty experience.

4. Up to five selected research articles.

8. (For professorship applicants) A statement outlining leadership experience.

9. Reference letters and any other relevant qualifications.
