Since the very beginning, VISTEC has also a long-standing collaboration with scientists in Bordeaux/France, belonging to the University of Bordeaux, CNRS, Bordeaux INP and VISTEC. This has led, among others, to several successive MOUs and the international research project (IRP) CHIRACHEM, funded by CNRS and the French Academy of Science. The collaboration, which is also regularly supported by the French embassy in Bangkok, aims to develop original materials for chiral recognition and separation as well as enantioselective (electro) synthesis.
