Academic Programs

VISTEC offers graduate degree programs by four academic schools: Biomolecular Science and Engineering, Energy Science and Engineering, Information Science and Technology, Molecular Science and Engineering.

Scholarship and Support

Students enrolled at VISTEC receive full scholarships and academic support. Students receive monthly stipend of THB 15,000-20,000 per month and funding to attend international conferences. All Ph.D. students also receive up to one-year research training at leading international laboratories. Students also receive support for tuition fees and research expenses.

Undergraduate Internship

VISTEC offers 2-month internship programs to undergraduate students from all universities in Thailand. Participants will get the opportunity to work closely with research teams and experts at VISTEC and participate in solving research challenges. Research groups at VISTEC have close collaborations with a variety of industries. Students will gain practical research experience and learn cutting-edge technologies.

Training and Workshop

At VISTEC, we provide an active learning environment and offer practical workshops and resources for academic training, as well as soft skills and extra-curricular skills outside of classrooms and laboratories.

Services for Current Students

Services for graduate students typically include academic advising, research support, library access, career counseling, and mental health resources. Universities often offer workshops, networking opportunities, and writing centers to help with thesis or dissertation preparation, as well as financial aid and scholarships for academic development.

Library and Learning Resources

The Library and Learning Resources section located on the first floor of the Vidyasirimedhi building, aims to foster effective learning. It oversees soft skill training programs, enhances academic English proficiency, and supports research skill development through workshops. The team assists students and faculty with accessing and managing academic resources like books, journals, and digital databases.

VISTEC Alumni

VISTEC Alumni offers graduates a platform to stay connected through communication channels, news updates, and various services. It supports networking, professional development, and collaboration opportunities, ensuring alumni remain engaged with the VISTEC community while advancing their careers and contributing to scientific and technological innovation.

Graduation Ceremony

At VISTEC, the graduation ceremony is held annually around November and is presided over by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. This prestigious event honors graduates' academic achievements, reflecting the institute's commitment to excellence in science, technology, and innovation.
